Noroc is pleased to support the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force in their training initiative this week. Law enforcement officers from around the state of Pennsylvania and beyond gathered at the Hilton Harrisburg hotel to receive training in the latest skills to lock up child predators.
Providing Internet bandwidth to such an event is no easy task for most hotels and conference centers. The training is conducted live on the Internet with each investigator honing their skills through individually assigned laptops. Although 5 Mbps of symmetrical bandwidth along with 35 public IP addresses were requested, Noroc was happy to provide over 13 Mbps of bandwidth as the need arose.

This ICAC training event marks the first event hosted by the Hilton Harrisburg hotel with bandwidth provided by Noroc, but the service will now be a part of the Hilton's regular menu of conference services.
